work in progress at IJM
These last days I helped Frank and his team making a new set. It will be used for a Dutch magazine. If it's published I'll show you. We covered a wall and a bookshelf with paper. The result is always so nice. The wallpaper glue adds a nice touch to the paper and changes the colour slightly.
The paper and the soft colours made the whole room feel very calm. Wonderful to work in on a hot day like yesterday.

Don't know why I didn't show you more pictures of IJM when I started to work in my new studio. I'm planning to share more from now on. It's such a great place to go to for work.

my new clogs from Mr. José Leite
When I saw these clogs at kermisblauw I got so happy, especially after reading the story behind them. Alice Bernardo documents traditional and semi-industrial techniques in Portugal. These clogs were made by Mr. José Leite. He is 85 years old and still makes shoes.They are for sale at the website from Alice.
I ordered a pair some time ago and they arrived rather quick in a nice package.
They are a little bit too big for me (my own fault, I'm always doubting which size to order online) but I love them nevertheless. They got a nice spot on the floor in my living room.
Besides being shoes they are a wonderful object made with a lot of dedication.
